Accreditation Programs
Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) Certification
Cloud native technologies empower organizations to build and run scalable applications in modern, dynamic environments such as public, private, and hybrid clouds. Containers, service meshes, microservices, immutable infrastructure, and declarative APIs exemplify this approach. The Foundation’s mission is to make cloud native computing ubiquitous.
Open Source Security Foundation (OpenSSF) Certification
The Open Source Security Foundation (OpenSSF) seeks to make it easier to sustainably secure the development, maintenance, and consumption of the open source software (OSS) we all depend on. This includes fostering collaboration, establishing best practices, and developing innovative solutions.
Criteria
General Criteria
General Criteria apply to all programs accredited by the Linux Foundation. Each program accredited by the Linux Foundation must satisfy every Criterion that is in the General Criteria section.
Program-Specific Criteria
The Program Criteria provides discipline-specific accreditation criteria. Programs must show that they satisfy all the specific Program Criteria implied by the program title. Any overlapping requirements need be satisfied only once.
There are two Linux Foundation projects currently supporting Academic Certifications. Please complete the relevant Program’s requested supporting criteria for whatever certification(s) are desired.
