The Linux Foundation Announces 18 New Silver Members

SAN FRANCISCO – August 30, 2017 – The Linux Foundation, the nonprofit organization enabling mass innovation through open source, announced that 18 new organizations have joined the Foundation as Silver members. Linux Foundation members help support development of the greatest shared technology resources in history, while accelerating their own innovation through open source leadership and participation.
“Linux Foundation members, such as the 18 great organizations we announce today, are crucial to helping us support sustainable open source projects that are advancing technology and changing the world,” said Jim Zemlin, executive director, The Linux Foundation. “I’m happy to welcome all our new members, and look forward to seeing them collaborate further with the open source community.”
In addition to joining the Foundation, many of these new members have joined Linux Foundation projects such as Automotive Grade Linux (AGL), Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF), EdgeX Foundry, Hyperledger Project and Open Network Automation Platform (ONAP). - inwinSTACK is a leading Taiwanese Kubernetes contributor and solution provider, delivering open source container services to IT organizations across industries.

- NETSIA is an applied research organization specializing in 5G technologies.

- Open Space Network Foundation is a collaborative commons decentralized autonomous organization.
