The Linux Foundation Announces Sessions and Speakers for Open Source Summit Japan 2017

Open source professionals, developers and users gather to share knowledge and advance the world’s largest shared technologies
SAN FRANCISCO, April 11, 2017 – The Linux Foundation, the nonprofit advancing professional open source management for mass collaboration, today announced the program for Open Source Summit Japan, taking place May 31-June 2 in Tokyo.
The Linux Foundation events are where the leading technologists meet, collaborate, learn and network in order to advance innovations that support the world’s largest shared technologies.
LinuxCon, ContainerCon and CloudOpen have combined under one umbrella name in 2017 and beyond – Open Source Summit. Three events in one, Open Source Summit Japan is a technical conference where 600+ open source developers, users and other professionals will convene to collaborate, share information and learn about the latest in open technologies, including Linux, containers, cloud computing and more.

Registration for Open Source Summit Japan is discounted to $350 through April 16. The event is co-located with Automotive Linux Summit 2017, and attendees may add on registration to that event at no additional charge. Applications for diversity and needs-based scholarships are also being accepted.
