LINUX FOUNDATION RESEARCH
LF Research Forum
What is the LF Research Forum?
LF Research created the LF Research Forum to engage IT professionals willing to contribute their perspectives and subject matter expertise to our research projects.
Research Forum members are invited to complete LF Research surveys about once per month, and may also be asked to contribute as an interviewee on our qualitative research projects.
By engaging forum members in research on open source dynamics through surveys, LF Research has been able to publish thousands of data points, hundreds of key findings, and dozens of unique reports under Creative Commons license, with the data openly available at Data.World - all of which is intended to better inform open source strategy and decision-making.
For each completed survey, LF Research will make a financial contribution to the Linux Foundation scholarship or travel fund. These funds create opportunities for diverse open source contributors from around the world to attend events and receive training.
The success of our research depends on community members like you! Please join us in our effort to create data-driven insights into open source dynamics.
